What is she carrying?

In considering some of the responses to Justin Kerr's question as to what the figure might be carrying, I remembered that I had bought in Guatemala some wrapped bundles of copal. These were wrapped in dried maize leaves and tied with what might be maize leaves cut into thin strips. Two types are pictured below.

Large Bundle:

The large bundle is about 12" long. The end is covered with a piece of the wrapping leaf.

The larger type is about 12" long. This is a side view.

This is an end view of the tied-up bundle of copal. It is about 1.25 - 1.5" in diameter.

 Small Bundle:

The smaller version is about 5-6" long and about 2/4" in diameter.
